The company is dedicated to innovation and service provision in the province of Guanacaste, taking advantage of the marine and land resources of the area. Our actions are based on sustainable practices and social responsibility. We work in Bahía Culebra and the Gulf of Papagayo, covering Potrero Beach, Flamingo, Sugar Beach, Prieta Beach, Penca, Ocotal, El Coco, Hermosa Beach, Panama and others.

We operate from Papagayo primarily, focusing on private and tailored tours, always seeking maximum customer satisfaction when designing tours to personal taste and giving a variety of options to choose from to create the best experience. Our tours, including snorkeling, diving, catamaran, fishing, sunset, surfing, diving courses and BBQ on the best beaches promises to meet the highest expectations.

Our team and crew

We have 4 boats for the enjoyment of the various activities we offer. The Pura Vida catamaran offers the possibility of group and private tours, diving, snorkeling, private dinners and overnight in Murciélago Islands. The recently purchased Destination Unknown Catamaran is the diamond of the El Refugio fleet, and we use it for the same activities plus some additional ones such as Multi Day trips. Finally we have the two speedboats, La Lentitud and Valentina Gra, which are suitable for those who require maximum use of time. Sport fishing, surfing, diving and other activities work with these two boats. Additionally, our crew and staff are well trained, and beyond simply fulfilling their duties, they normally end up interacting with all our clients to a point where it becomes almost a friendship.
